The Dirty Things Normal People Think of When They Hear Marketing Buzzwords
At Contently, we love to make fun of content marketing buzzwords—so much so that we own the top four slots for the term on Google. But we also use them way too often ourselves. Sometimes I feel like a personal trainer who goes home to watch Netflix every night with a tub of Ben and Jerry’s, bag of Doritos, and a sense of self-loathing. (In part because I’m definitely watching too much Archer.)
It’s a problem. We must sound ridiculous. To test this hypothesis, I went on the streets of Soho outside our office last week and asked normal people to name the first thing that came to mind when they heard the absurd words we use every day. Their answers were… surprising, to say the least. Check it out:
