Inbound marketing is the practice of helping consumers find your brand via social, search or content marketing before they are ready to make a purchasing decision. In the end, the goal is to secure a sale.

When inbound marketing is done right, it can increase brand awareness by 93%, according to an infographic by Marketo. The infographic states, “By helping, entertaining, and interacting with potential customers before they are thinking about making a purchase, you build trust and increase the likelihood that they will choose you when they are ready to buy.” 

To run a great inbound marketing campaign, Marketo suggests picking a monthly theme, producing one or more major pieces of content to support the theme, and writing three thoughtful blog posts per week about it. Check out the infographic below for more details.
